Halihuskies and Their Staff

Our Siberian Huskies 

Halihuskyt currently consist of a pack of nine Siberian Huskies. The pack includes 4 females: Sissi, Freya, Maikki and Helga, and 5 males: Rento, Mäkki, Sulo, Sisu and Pouta. 

With one exception, the dogs are either home-bred or came here as very young puppies, so they have grown up in a family with children and have been used to kids running around them from the very beginning.

Household Staff

Halihuskies is mainly run by Hanna, who also breeds Siberian Huskies under the kennel name Mirthmaker. 

Hanna is assisted by the accomplished kennel man Jarkko, whose heel blister is to blame for the fact that huskies entered this life at all in the 2000s – the story behind this may be heard during a visit. 

The socialization of the huskies, especially the puppies, is the responsibility of the family’s children, Aaro and Ronja.
