The booking for husky birthday parties is binding and a booking fee of €70 is charged at the time of reservation. The booking fee is deducted from the total price, which is paid on site either in cash, via MobilePay or bank transfer (unfortunately debit/credit cards are not accepted).
Finnish winters can sometimes be unpredictable. If the weather does not allow for a sleigh ride, the person who made the booking will be contacted and can choose to cancel or reschedule the party, or hold it without the ride. In that case, the price is reduced by 15% and instead of the ride there will be shared activities for the children and dogs in the yard (treat-finding games, short training sessions with the dogs).
If the party has to be cancelled for health reasons, contact us by email or phone to arrange a new date. If a suitable time cannot be found, the booking fee will be refunded. In other cases, the booking fee is non-refundable.
If Halihuskyt has to cancel the reservation due to illness or similar reasons, a new date will be offered. If this is not suitable, the booking fee will be refunded.

Each birthday party will last for 2 hours.
Arrival on time is requested. The party always starts with a sleigh ride, after which the children can, if they wish, help with taking off the harnesses etc. After the ride there is time for cuddling the dogs and enjoying treats according to the chosen program.
The parties are intended for school-aged children, but there is a cup of hot juice or coffee reserved for a couple of accompanying adults, and there are enough treats for them as well if they wish to stay on site and wait – this should be mentioned when making the reservation.
The husky birthday party takes place entirely outdoors and in a heated cabin, so clothing should be appropriate outdoor wear for the weather.

Our huskies are gentle and used to children, but they are energetic dogs and when excited they may jump up and lick faces. It is also good to note that the dogs love running in front of the sled and, in their excitement before departure, they howl and bark with eagerness to go. The noise can be considerable and it is advisable to talk about this with the children in advance.
For safety reasons, it is absolutely essential that children listen to and follow the instructions given, and stay together as a group throughout the program.
The company has liability insurance.
For those with allergies, the parties take place entirely outdoors and in a cabin where the dogs do not stay. However, avoiding all skin contact with dogs cannot be guaranteed.
The treats served are lactose-free and no nuts are used in baking. Other special diets must be agreed separately when making the reservation.
